Once In a Lifetime
C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) aka Comet Neowise visits earth about every 6800 years.
It makes me wonder what our planet will be like the next time it grazes Earth’s night sky.
A stunning naked eye comet, it was THE talk for the summer of 2020 in the Northern Hemisphere and if you had clear skies, you may have had the opportunity to see it.
I knew I had to get out and photograph Neowise, and fortunately my town, Sylvan Lake, Canada, has excellent open views to the north.
As I set up my camera and settled in to watch the comet track through the sky, the noctilucent clouds also made their ethereal appearance. A magnificent once in a lifetime event!
