Luminous Night
Photographers are chasers of light and to truly experience the wonder of starlight, we generally need an absence of other lights.
This scene was full of light from various sources but they all contributed to the atmosphere and beauty of the location and the night in Banff National Park, Canada.
The light pollution, moonlight and even vehicle headlights diminished the visibility of the stars and the Milky Way core, but they beautifully lit other parts of the scene.
Any beautiful night under the stars has its own kind of special magic.
