While many will say that the joy of a hike is experiencing the climb, this one was all about the view from the summit.
A sunset hike involves planning and preparedness … to either camp overnight or come down in the dark.
The ascent was relatively uneventful until we gradually emerged from the woods to the expansive, mesmerizing views across the Rockies.
Layers upon layers of mountains…peaks as far as the eye could see….
This incredible vista inspired me to continue stepping out of my comfort zone, conquering fears, and pushing through obstacles, and to continue exploring this world and this life.
